Club Gloucester wishes to advise that the Annual General Meeting will be held Sunday 28th October at 10:30am in the downstairs lounge area
All members are welcome to attend.
AGM AGENDA:
- Apologies
- Minutes of last Annual General Meeting
- Receive reports from directors
- Receive and adopt the Director’s Report, Director’s Declaration, Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Statement and notes to these reports
- To declare the result of the election of the Board of Directors for the ensuing year
- Vote on proposed changes to constitution as follows:
- MEMBERSHIP & TEMPORARY MEMBERSHIP
- Section (2) & (3) – Delete need for Temporary Member to reside outside of the 20km radius (These changes are in line with changes to the Registered Clubs Act).
- MANAGEMENT (Board of Directors)
- Section (27) Change “The President shall be elected annually by the Board but shall not be entitled to serve as president for more than three (3) annual terms in succession.” To “The President shall be elected annually by the Board but shall not be entitled to serve as president
7. To deal with any other business that the meeting may approve of which due notice has not been given.
Any financial member of the club attending the AGM who needs clarification on any matter relating to the Financial Statements contained herein, please give your questions in writing to the President no later than 24th September
